Stapleford Town Council held its Annual Town Council Meeting on 12th May 2017 and as part of the procedure elected, Cllr Chris Rice to the role of Town Mayor and Cllr Bob Browne to be Deputy Town Mayor, for the forthcoming Municipal Year.
Town Mayor, Cllr Chris Rice joined Mayor of Broxtowe Cllr Halimah Khaled MBE, the Rt Hon Anna Soubry M.P.  and Chair of the Jubilee Group, (who organise the event) Stan Heptinstall, (above),   at the Grand Opening of the Hemlock Happening.

Broxtowe Borough Council has now closed its Cash Offices. This means that you can no longer: pay rent, pay council tax, seek benefit advice/submit benefit claims or use the free phone facility that used to exist in the Cash Office at the Carnegie Centre.
